How do you make us believe that you care?

- By knowing where we’ve been and what we’re up to
- By having all your words be your words
- By telling us to hit the road when it’s clear we’re just going through the motions and not really here for it.
When we believe that you care, you actually come off as a genuine ally in our corner. Someone we can confide in. Someone we show up for. Someone worth making promises to, so that we’re more likely to follow through when we don’t feel like it.
Someone with whom we’d be embarrassed to be less than our word.
So please. Even if we’re just your 10 o’clock on Tuesdays, a part of how you make a living. Be present and engaged enough to make us believe we’re something more.
