Describe The Experience Your Clients Can Expect

There are myriad practices that lend power and focus to already good coaching conversations, and done well they make the experience of being coached by you so much more.

Nice is figuring out how to do these practices powerfully during the time you were already going to spend with clients (for example, when you allow for saying “That’s brilliant—write that down.”, you can collaboratively compose brilliant session notes during the sessions themselves).

Inspired is figuring out that describing specifically how you do what you do makes for very compelling marketing copy, one that allows you to stand out in ways that the uninitiated will be able to appreciate.

For example, I would be excited and impressed to see a coach specifically call out the following as part of how they describe their coaching services:

I’m committed that every coaching conversation we have produces genuine value that is worth taking forward.  Out of every session you will have a brief written account of the key insights, which will grow into a collection that will be easy to revisit and serve as a souvenir of our working together, which you get to keep forever.

I suspect I’m not the only one.

When you have a system like CoachAccountable, screenshots of the typical things that get created, documented, tracked, and accomplished can be readily shared front and center on your website, brochure, etc.

Describe how you operate as more than mere conversations, and show what it looks like.

Doing so distinguishes you from what ubiquitously passes for marketing collateral in the industry: flowery language, abstract process diagrams (you know the circular ones), pithy quotes, and inspiring stock photography.

You wanna be distinct from all that; that stuff makes our eyes glaze over.
